The Magicians Birthday
Steve Hill, the “One-Man Blues Band” celebrates a birthday today (June 11). The Trois-Rivieres native has been touring his one man shot on both sides of the Atlantic to critical acclaim. Steve is playing blues festivals in both Quebec and Ontario this summer. A versatile and entertaining performer, catch his live show. It may get LOUD!
It’s one thing to listen to Canada’s Steve Hill via the medium in which he strides. It’s quite another to witness it in action, to see the Blues played with deftness and spirit, the smile and the stare in your mind as the notes ring out in the praise of the genre.

He has been called the most spectacular one-man band on the planet. The guitar is his main instrument but he also sings, plays the bass drum with his feet, in addition to a snare drum, hi-hats and any other percussion he can reach. Hill fused a drumstick to the head of his guitar to play the cymbals and has also added the harmonica.
