Montreal’s Queen of Rock, Sass Jordan, who’s pedigree includes rock royalty such as Aerosmith,
The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Steve Miller Band, Van Halen, The Foo Fighters, Cheap Trick, Santana, Joe Cocker, Styx, Rodger Hodgson, April Wine and Jeff Healy.
The show was mix of story and song – Sass read well penned anecdotes and stories that mirrored her career and the inspiration for some of her music and lyrics, then followed with one fan favourite after another.
The tour is in support of her CD ‘Racine Revisited’ which was released Sept 15th 2017 on vinyl and CD! The album was to celebrate the original album “Racine” to mark it’s 25th anniversary and was completely re-recorded.
Released in 1992, “Racine” included the hits “Make You a Believer”, “I Want to Believe”, “You Don’t Have to Remind Me” and “Goin’ Back Again”. That same year, Jordan performed a duet with Joe Cocker for the soundtrack of the motion picture The Bodyguard
Sass Jordan was joined by Rudy Sarzo on bass, Brent Fitz on drums and percussion, Chris Caddell on guitars and Derek Sharp on guitars, keyboards and production. “Racine was reborn” at OCL Studios in Calgary, Canada, and not one note was digitally tampered. “What you hear is what happened”!
